SaaS Solutions

Software as a service: built, operated and maintained — from one source.

Software is not finished when it runs. It has to keep running: updates, backups, certificates, monitoring, someone who answers the phone at seven in the morning. Whoever has to shoulder that alone soon has a second job.

As a SaaS solution your application runs at noalen: on our own hardware in Germany, with daily backups, monitoring and agreed response times. You use, we operate. Monthly, cancellable, with the service period stated on every invoice.

What you get

Operations as a service
Your application runs with us: updates, monitoring, daily backups, encrypted connections. You need no IT of your own for it — the servers come from our managed hosting.
Maintenance and further development
Security and feature updates, function checks, minor bug fixes. Optionally with a fixed monthly change budget so requests do not pile up.
Support and on-call
Incident resolution and user help on a time basis, or with availability outside business hours and an agreed response time.
Honest commitments
Target availability, response times and maintenance windows are in the contract. What we cannot guarantee, we do not promise.

Three situations

What operations as a service means day to day.

The club without an administrator

A club's member management ran on the treasurer's computer. The treasurer steps down.

Move to operation as SaaS: application, data, backup and updates with us, browser access for the board. The next change of office is no longer a risk.

The shop on Saturday evening

A small online shop makes its main revenue at the weekend — exactly when nobody is reachable.

Hosting with monitoring and on-call: incidents are detected before customers report them and resolved within the agreed response time. Maintenance windows are at night on weekdays.

The startup before the investor meeting

A startup runs its application on a self-installed server. The investor asks about backup, access rights and contingency plan.

Managed server with patching, backup and access log, plus a documented operations concept. The answer to the investor's question is a document, not a shrug.

You bring a finished application and only need it operated securely? Managed Hosting

Have it operated, or operate it yourself? The guide compares the three routes with the market's figures: Managed hosting, cloud or your own server

How it works

  1. Intake

What runs where today, what depends on what? We record application, data and dependencies.

  2. Move or start

Setup of operations, migration of existing data, test run. Switch-over only when both sides are green.

  3. Ongoing operation

Monthly report on request, a fixed contact person, service period on every invoice. Cancellable without drama.
